Britney Spears will be suing Star magazine after it alleged that she had been beaten up by her boyfriend and ex-agent Jason Travick.
The story printed accuses Britney of telling her ex-Vegas husband Jason Alexander about Travick beating her up - they even say they have an audio tape of the conversation, which Brit's rep Andrew Wallet says is fake.
He said, "Every aspect of the story published by Star Magazine is completely and utterly false."
"Star Magazine was informed of the falsity of the story before it was published. All the statements attributable to Jason Alexander [in the article] are completely fabricated."
Wallet added: "Jason Trawick has never abused [Spears]. They have defamed Britney Spears and we will be taking appropriate legal action."

Britney Spears' parents are reportedly getting back together, eight years after they divorced!
"They are back together and are doing well and happy," a source told People. "[They're] not remarried but back together."
A family friend said, "Lynne is a dear, sweet person. She deserves happiness. As her friend, my wish for her would be a happy ending."
But will Britney be as happy? She told press back in 2002 when they split, "It's the best thing that's ever happened to my family. My mom and dad, bottom line, do not get along. When I was a baby, they argued."

Rumours are floating around that Britney Spears has landed a variety show!
Apparently the pop star has been approached with an offer of hosting her very own show after the success of her (brief) stint on Glee.
We're not too sure that this is likely, but it would definitely get massive ratings!

We reported last week that Britney Spears had met with the judge overseeing her conservatorship, and that it was all staying in place but it looks like it could actually be removed!
The conservatorship is likely to end in three months, according to a source who said, "Britney has made tremendous progress in the past three to four months. She seems to be firmly in control again."
They added, "Judge Goetz needed to meet with Britney and talk to her face-to-face, to see how she was doing. It's one thing to read medical reports about her, but the in-person meeting was very important."
"Britney's court-appointed attorney, Sam Imgham was the only other person in chambers during the 35-minute meeting. Judge Goetz also met with Britney's father, Jamie separately, as well as with Brit's therapist."

Britney Spears met with her lawyer and a judge to discuss the conservatorship she has been under since 2008.
Judge Goetz said in court that she had "a very nice conversation" with Spears during their meeting, but did not give any further details.
Although she's much better then she was when it was imposed, it seems Britney is happy to stay under the care of her dad, and the arrangement will stay in place.

Britney Spears' episode of Glee aired last night in the US and to celebrate, the singer live-tweeted the event for her twitter followers.
Among Britney's comments were:

Britney has reportedly enlisted a host of top songwriters to pen tracks for her highly anticipated next album at an intensive 'camp'.
Songwriter Neon Hitch tweeted, "I hate flying, but the reward of writing for Britney in Texas makes it all worth it..!! C u in a few days LA! :)"
She later added, "Just arrived at the Britney writing camp And they have their own plane!! ..I'm NOT gettin in."
