What do you make of Lindsay Lohan's latest red carpet look?

The actress partied with Cindy Crawford, Sarah-Jessica Parker, Liz Hurley and Shane Warne (we still can't get used to that) at the amfAR Gala last night to celebrate the launch of New York Fashion Week. .

But while everyone else - not Shane, obvs - opted for something floor-length and elegant, Lindsay went long-sleeved and knee-length in white Tom Ford with Prada courts and a Versace clutch bag.

We're not hot on Lindsay's look. While that dress is rather lovely, it not only clashes with her hair, but also screams 'business lunch'. She's over done it on the fake tan too.

Adele hits back at Karl Lagerfeld 'too fat' jibe. He apologises.

Singer Adele has hit back at Karl Lagerfeld's recent comments about her weight by saying she wouldn't want to look like the models in his catwalk shows.

In an interview with People magazine, the Grammy nominee revealed that she was "proud" of her image.

She said: "I've never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines. I represent the majority of women and I'm very proud of that."

Chanel's outspoken Creative Director has been criticised for his controversial comments while guest editing Metro New York earlier this week.

In what appeared to be a barbed compliment, Lagerfeld said: "The thing at the moment is Adele. She's a little too fat, but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice."

He's already claimed that the quip was taken out of context.

"I lost over 30 kilos over 10 years ago and have kept it off", he told the paper on Wednesday after the interview had been published.

"I know how it feels when the press is mean to you in regards to your appearance. Adele is a beautiful girl. She is the best. And I can't wait for her next CD."

Her next battle? Winning a Grammy this weekend. She's been nominated six times!

Courtney Cox 'hasn't had sex since last year'

Don't believe the rumours surrounding Courtney Cox's love life, because she's admitted that her sex life has been non-existent for more than a year.

The actress told American radio presenter Howard Stern that - despite claims that she hooked up with her Cougar Town co-star, Josh Hopkins - she's actually been celibate since splitting from husband, David Arquette in October 2010.

In the unusually candid interview, Courtney also opened up about the split, meeting David's new girlfriend and him trying to make a move on her during a recent trip to Disneyland with daughter, Coco.

She said: "The truth of the matter is that we love each other so much. We have such affection for each other, but we are very different.

"I'm a homebody. I like to have people over, but I'm a little socially... not... I don't love it. David, he doesn't drink anymore, he's completely sober, but he likes to go out and dance. He's very outgoing. I'm much more of an introvert."

"[The Disneyland incident] was like the worst", she revealed. "I'd just woken up. He'd been up...You know he doesn't sleep."

Beyonce and Jay-Z 'to trademark Blue Ivy'

Their daughter's name might be completely unique, but new parents Beyonce and Jay-Z have apparently applied to patent it in a very savvy business move.

According to reports, the couple have applied to the US Patent and Trademark Office to protect Blue Ivy's name for possible use on a future line of baby goods.

They've been advised to move fast. The office has already rejected two other applications from wannabe entrepreneurs which they say is very normal when a new phrase starts to trend.

An American clothing store did get lucky though. Blue Ivy clothing store in Wisconsin was granted a patent on the early last year; months before Bee was even pregnant.

The couple will have to get in the queue like everyone else. The office works on a first-come-first-served basis, even for A-listers.

Kate Middleton wears Jesire coat dress for first solo outing

The Duchess of Cambridge has made her first public appearance without husband, Prince William.

Kate headed to the National Portrait Gallery for a private viewing of Lucien Freud's work. And she chose a classic tweed coat dress by Jesire teamed with black Jimmy Choo court shoes for the occasion.

It's definitely not as daring as her recent looks, but we're impressed that she's opted for bare legs. It's freezing outside!

Prince William is on routine deployment with the RAF in the Falklands for the next six weeks.

The Duchess has apparently told friends that she's nervous about attending events without him. At least she's got their new puppy to go snuggle up to afterwards.

Her husband might be considered one of the world's most stylish men, but Victoria Beckham has apparently found inspiration for her new menswear collection in an unlikely celeb.

According to reports, Victoria's a huge fan of Russell Brand's flamboyant and slightly disheveled look.

"She loves his unique fashion sense and she's letting his style influence her designs", a source close to the award-winning eponymous designer told Now magazine.

Katy Perry's soon-to-be-ex-husband is renowned for his backcombed mane and skinny black jeans. Not exactly the classic, elegant styling Victoria is known for.

Will we see husband David modeling her new threads? After that H&M ad, let's hope so...

Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton back on?

Looks like Nicole Scherzinger and ex-boyfriend, Lewis Hamilton may have rekindled their romance just in time for Valentine's Day.

The on-off couple split for good late last year. But, now they've apparently been spotted holding hands while heading to dinner in Hollywood.

According to the paparazzi, the pair were happy to pose for photographs together.

It's been a tough week for Nicole. She's reportedly "disappointed" after Simon Cowell axed her from the X Factor US judging panel amid poor ratings.

As they were smiling for the cameras, Lewis gave his view on Simon's decision. The Formula One driver apparently said: "It's not good without her, huh?"

Be still our beating hearts. Here's Robert Pattinson looking smoking hot in the promotional poster for his latest film, Bel Ami.

Starring alongside Uma Thurman, Kristin Scott-Thomas and Christina Ricci, R-Patz plays womanising Georges Duroy in the costume drama.

The film is based on Guy de Maupassant's novel in which the lead character manipulates his way to the upper echelons of Parisian society by basically sleeping with plenty of influential women.

Must have been a struggle on set...

Angelina Jolie wrote farewell letter to Brad Pitt in Afghanistan

Angelina Jolie has revealed that she wrote a farewell letter to Brad Pitt on a recent visit to Afghanistan.

As part of her work as a UN goodwill ambassador, Angelina has toured the war-torn country several times. But on one occasion she penned the letter to her actor partner in case anything happened to her.

"I've had moments recently when I went to Afghanistan, and I've got off a plane thinking this is fine. And then I got there and they said: 'The people are very angry with you. They are angry that you are a woman and you are American and you are with UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) and you are the target'", she told OK! magazine.

She added: "They gave me a briefing and they said everyone needs to write their blood type down...I wrote a note to Brad in the process and figured if anything happens he'll find it."

"I was fine, but then two weeks later they did attack the UN and they killed everyone in the bunker."

How we cooed over Prada's SS12 collection. The return of the midi skirt for another season, those candy-coloured court shoes, endless amounts of chiffon...

It seems we weren't the only ones who were hooked. George at ASDA's design team were obviously watching that Milan runway very closely too, because they've just released an almost exact Miuccia Prada copycat.

George's dress is not only pleated, it also has pastel contrasting and drops just below the knee just like the real thing.

Everyone's wearing... A full fringe (including us)

While it's not warm enough to dress for spring, there's nothing stopping us from experimenting with next season's beauty trends.

The full fringe is having a moment. In the last few days, we've spied Hollywood royalty Rachel McAdams, Reese Witherspoon and Liv Tyler updating their hair for awards season with blunt bangs.

Off the red carpet, this style is just as wearable but it does take commitment.

Resident hair expert, Kiss and Makeup's Steph says: "Keep two things in mind when considering such a dramatic change. Will a full fringe suit my face shape, current style and features? Your hairdresser will be able to help.

"And can I be bothered to style it every morning?"

Oh, and before you decide to do it yourself - don't.

"It's all about a polished finished not straggly ends", Steph adds.

Obviously, Taylor Swift has been rocking a full fringe for a while but we're coveting the look as our own.

When it's chilly out, our sense of style seems to go out the window. Once we've exhausted our entire jumper collection, we panic and start dressing like a five-year-old in thick tights and wellies. Practical, yes. Stylish? Not so much.

Luckily Olivia Palermo was put on this earth to teach us all how to dress, whatever the weather.

Last night, she braved the New York cold for a film screening. Although she was probably chauffeur-driven from her front door to the cinema, she still dressed all snuggly in a black faux fur gilet, skinny jeans, sheer blouse and boots.

Olivia made the whole look far more interesting with a chunky tiger head necklace.

Rooney Mara talks Oscars dress and nipple piercings

We want to be Rooney Mara. She's not only ridiculously cool and an amazing actress, but - it seems - she's also one of those annoying people who can throw together a last minute outfit and still win Best Dressed.

At a pre-awards press conference yesterday, the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo star admitted that she hasn't decided what to wear to the Oscars yet.

"I haven't found a dress", she said. "But I'm not that worried about it... I think it's a simple process. People just send you things, you try them on and wear what you like."

No biggy you might think, but as she's been nominated for the Best Actress gong, she's not going to be able to hide from the cameras. Thankfully, Rooney knows exactly what she likes.

"[Comfort] is the most important thing to me, but I have to feel good in it", she added.

"I just like simple things. I don't like anything to crazy. I don't like that much colour."

So our money is on another black jawdropping Nina Ricci gown just like the one she wore to the Golden Globes.

Madonna 'livid' over MIA Super Bowl middle-finger stunt

It's been the topic of pretty much every conversation we've had since the early hours of Monday morning. And now Madonna has apparently admitted that she is unimpressed by MIA's half-time Super Bowl stunt.

In case you've been living in a box, MIA showed her middle finger to the cameras during a performance of 'Gimme All Your Luvin'' with Madonna and Nicki Minaj.

NBC has already been forced to apologise for the incident.

According to The Sun, Madonna is also "livid' with the singer's swearing.

"Madonna wasn't impressed. She prides herself on professionalism. MIA did nothing similar in rehearsals", a show insider told the newspaper.

"Nobody knew she was going to pull this stunt. Madonna wanted to put on a world beating performance. But everyone ended up talking about this girl's middle finger."

Oo-er. We wouldn't want to upset the Queen of Pop. Just look what happened to Elton John...

She may have given birth to Blue Ivy just a few weeks ago, but Beyonce already seems to have got her figure back!

The singer hit the red carpet in this figure-hugging red ruched Alice by Temperley dress to support husband Jay-Z at a charitable gig in New York last night.

She teamed the dress with multi-coloured embroidered Christian Louboutin pumps and a fierce gold Alexander McQueen clutch.

And she didn't have to leave early for the babysitter!

Bee apparently partied in to the early hours with her mum Tina Knowles at the 40/40 Club after party...
