Angelina Jolie could have her next big role under her belt already - the actress has been rumoured to be lined up to star as iconic queen Cleopatra in a new movie.
Producer Scott Rudin has bought the film rights to new Cleopatra biography Queen of the Nile, Cleopatra: A Life and wants Jolie to star in it.
Rudin confirmed that the adaptation is "being developed for and with Jolie"

Katherine Heigl has admitted that the well dressed daughters of Angelina Jolie and Katie Holmes intimidate her when it comes to her own daughters clothes!
Katherine, who adopted daughter Naleish, told Harpers Bazaar, "Dude, I try, but I'm not nailing the baby fashion. It's intimidating."
She continued, "I get beautiful outfits from Gap and baby Juicy, but I'm not layering it or putting her in Prada flats. It's really stressing me out."
Don't worry Katherine, we wore some shocking outfits, and we turned out fine.

Last week Claudia Schiffer was nude (and pregnant) on the cover of Vogue, and this week it's Christina Aguilera who's Stripped (get it) off for a magazine cover - German GQ to be exact.
It got us thinking about all the other celebrities who have posed in their birthday suits - whether for 'art' - think Scarlett Johansson and Keira Knightley on the cover of Vanity Fair (a fun fact for you: Rachel McAdams was supposed to be part of the shoot, until she discovered it was nude when she arrived on set, and opted out), or just purely to sell magazines- Megan Fox naked behind a sheet anyone?

Reports are surfacing that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are planning to get married!
Apparently the couple are going to do the dead for their older children, Maddox, eight, Pax, six, Zahara, five, and three-year-old Shiloh, who want mummy and daddy to have a big white wedding and sell the pictures for charity.
A source told OK! magazine, "Lately, Shiloh and Zahara have been chiming in, and Pax thinks it would just be the coolest thing ever to be a ring bearer."
We are so sure Pax thinks being a ring bearer is cool.
Well, we do know neither Brad nor Angie are marriage-phobes, but we'll wait for confirmation on this before we start shopping for fascinators.

One of Angelina Jolie's former bodyguards has described the star as a self-centred control freak.
The bodyguard, who chose to be known as 'Bill', said, "Angelina has a public and a private persona. In my opinion, the real Angelina is self-centred and a control freak. She has no patience at all. She doesn't do things out of the kindness of her heart. And she's totally psycho. She screams and yells a lot, then walks away."
"She would punish them with silence," Bill continued. "I think she could be abusive at times in a mental way. Angelina is not moved by tears."
He also described the actresses "quirky habit of giggling when one of her kids would start crying."

It seems being a beautiful model doesn't leave you without your hang ups. Or maybe (and more likely) Angelina Jolie has just made a reputation for herslf.
Vannessa Paradis has reportedly told partner Johhny Depp, who have been together for 12 years and have two kids together, to drop out of his new movie, "The Tourist" after she found out he was shooting a passionate love scene with notorious husband stealer co-star Angelina Jolie.
You can't really blame Vanessa though - Angelina was blamed for the breakdown of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston's marriage when she starred with him in in Mr and Mrs Smith, and years before that apparently snagged Billy Bob Thornton out from under his then fiancées nose.
Johhny doesn't seem like the type to cheat, but let's face it, we'd keep her away from our boyfriends too.

Try as they might, Brangelina can't quite keep a lid on those relentless break-up rumours. The latest one? Angelina Jolie fancies herself as a saintly figure akin to Princess Di. According to The Daily Mail, a close friend has said, 'she thinks she can be a similarly powerful and charismatic figure in global political circles.'
As a tireless charity supporter and human-rights campaigner, Angelina sees herself, post-Brad, as ready to be a worldly, humanitarian role model. I agree with the humanitarian part but I'm struggling with the 'saintly' bit. Plus I can't really see her in sensible Princess Di suits and court shoes.

For a couple about to break up, Brangelina sure are spending a lot of time together. The Daily Mail reports that the couple attended the Directors Guild of America Awards and spent the whole evening giggling and flirting. The couple declined to attend the Golden Globes and aren't expected to make an appearance at the Oscars, so their appearance at the DGA awards came as a surprise.
Brad was there to present a nomination plaque to Quentin Tarantino for Inglorious Basterds for the Outstanding Directional Achievement in Feature Film. Brad looked dapper in his Tom Ford tuxedo while 34-year-old Angelina looked equally stunning in a green Ellie Saab gown. Is this the last time we'll see them together in such finery?

While some are reporting a big and final split for Brad and Angelina, Perez Hilton says otherwise. Apparently, Brangelina aren't splitting at all but are busy making Oscar plans. For matching outfits.
According to a source, 'Angelina and Brad are still very much together. They're even in the process of planning out their Oscar outfits. Brad wanted to make sure he didn't clash with Angelina, who's putting some serious thought into her choices. They are still a couple.'
Oh Brangelina, if you must split, can you please just wait 'til after the Oscars? It's only a few more weeks and you do make such a handsome couple...
