Just when you thought, after the Oscars, the Baftas and the rest that you had a break from the red carpet for a while, the Cannes Film Festival starts to sneak up on us! Grace Kelly meets her Prince: Ok, so it may not be a fashion moment per se, but Grace Kelly meeting Prince Rainer of Monaco while she was in Cannes attending the Film Festival did lead to their wedding... which led to her amazing, iconic wedding dress.

It seems being a beautiful model doesn't leave you without your hang ups. Or maybe (and more likely) Angelina Jolie has just made a reputation for herslf.
Vannessa Paradis has reportedly told partner Johhny Depp, who have been together for 12 years and have two kids together, to drop out of his new movie, "The Tourist" after she found out he was shooting a passionate love scene with notorious husband stealer co-star Angelina Jolie.
You can't really blame Vanessa though - Angelina was blamed for the breakdown of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston's marriage when she starred with him in in Mr and Mrs Smith, and years before that apparently snagged Billy Bob Thornton out from under his then fiancées nose.
Johhny doesn't seem like the type to cheat, but let's face it, we'd keep her away from our boyfriends too.

Try as they might, Brangelina can't quite keep a lid on those relentless break-up rumours. The latest one? Angelina Jolie fancies herself as a saintly figure akin to Princess Di. According to The Daily Mail, a close friend has said, 'she thinks she can be a similarly powerful and charismatic figure in global political circles.'
As a tireless charity supporter and human-rights campaigner, Angelina sees herself, post-Brad, as ready to be a worldly, humanitarian role model. I agree with the humanitarian part but I'm struggling with the 'saintly' bit. Plus I can't really see her in sensible Princess Di suits and court shoes.

For a couple about to break up, Brangelina sure are spending a lot of time together. The Daily Mail reports that the couple attended the Directors Guild of America Awards and spent the whole evening giggling and flirting. The couple declined to attend the Golden Globes and aren't expected to make an appearance at the Oscars, so their appearance at the DGA awards came as a surprise.
Brad was there to present a nomination plaque to Quentin Tarantino for Inglorious Basterds for the Outstanding Directional Achievement in Feature Film. Brad looked dapper in his Tom Ford tuxedo while 34-year-old Angelina looked equally stunning in a green Ellie Saab gown. Is this the last time we'll see them together in such finery?

While some are reporting a big and final split for Brad and Angelina, Perez Hilton says otherwise. Apparently, Brangelina aren't splitting at all but are busy making Oscar plans. For matching outfits.
According to a source, 'Angelina and Brad are still very much together. They're even in the process of planning out their Oscar outfits. Brad wanted to make sure he didn't clash with Angelina, who's putting some serious thought into her choices. They are still a couple.'
Oh Brangelina, if you must split, can you please just wait 'til after the Oscars? It's only a few more weeks and you do make such a handsome couple...

It's nice to know that not everyone is sunning their buns in Saint Barts. Some celebrities, like Brangelina are freezing their butts off in NYC instead. Angelina, Brad, his beard and their brood braved the chills to take in a matinee performance of Mary Poppins on Broadway. While Angelina grappled with Pax, Maddox and Zahara, Brad cuddled up to Shiloh who looked totally toasty in her black padded jacket. However, we can't help noticing that poor Shiloh looks like she'd rather be tucked up at home in front of Spongebob than watching a Broadway cast sing 'Chim Chim Cheree'...

The latest extracts from Ian Halperin's shocking book on Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie claim that Jennifer Aniston and Angelina had a showdown in a Hollywood restaurant soon after Brad Pitt left Jen for Ms Jolie.
Halperin told Page Six that the pair met in a 'deserted Hollywood restaurant,' adding, 'Jen was upset and shouted at Angelina...There was an altercation, it got pretty heated... It reduced Jen to tears.'
Halperin also claimed that Angelina had two other married men on her 'to do' list before hooking up with Brad, claiming that 'she said she wanted to go after either Bill Clinton or Johnny Depp.'
Of course, this information is all very timely given that Angelina and Johnny are both in talks to star in new film The Tourist - we wonder how Vanessa Paradis feels about this latest development...

Oh dear, looks like there's trouble in Brangelina land. The pair have allegedly fallen out (again), over Angelina's plans to adopt a seventh child. Apparently Brad has threatened to 'go on strike' if Angelina continues with her plans to adopt a Syrian orphan.
A source told Now magazine: "He thinks Ange's insane, but he also knows that he's powerless to stop her if she really wants to do it. He worries how they'd cope with seven kids. He's a very dedicated father, but the stress of it all makes him want to run away."
The source added: "He's gone from being a carefree bachelor to a father of six in just a few years and it's stressing him out beyond belief. He's worn out by his parental responsibilities and is missing life as a bachelor.
That doesn't wash with Ange, who has her hands full with the kids and charity commitments. It's impossible to see how this stalemate can be resolved unless she gives up her plans to adopt again or he walks out for good."

Brad Pitt turned down a $5 million public appearance so that he could go trick or treating with his children.
According to Life and Style magazine, Brad was offered the money to attend the Grand Prix Ball Abu Dhabi on 31st October, but didn't show up as he was on trick or treating duties.
A source told the magazine: "He's spending more time with the family and doing less of these appearances, even though it's a huge sum of cash."
It's fair to say that Brad doesn't exactly need the money - still if Angelina's plans to adopt a seventh child are true, he might have to start doing a few more public appearances. That's an awful lot of breakfast cereal....

A new book is about to be released that promises to spill the beans on Brangelina once and for all.
According to US Weekly, investigative journalist Ian Halperin will explain how the pair have 'successfully manipulated the public into believing a glamorous fairytale that bears little resemblance to the relatity of the pair's life together.'
The books' press release also reads: 'Jolie's personal lifestyle choices are not only affecting her growing family, but causing serious and potentially irreparable tensions with Pitt.'
Yikes! We can't wait to read the book in full when it comes out in December.
