Angelina Jolie put joy into the hearts of the fashion crowd by wearing a dress that wasn't black, and that was, in fact blue, while on her Salt promotional trail.
Bright blue!
Angelina wore a blue Elie Saab dress with padded cap sleeves and a ruffled detail running down its front for her photocall, paired with white heels.
The at the premiere for Salt, Angelina made a return to her comfort zone with this black BCBG Max Azria Atelier gown, which, frankly, doesn't do much for her with its unflattering draping.

Angelina Jolie hit Paris for the premiere of Salt yesterday.
The actress wore an ivory silk lame asymmetrical Pamella Roland dress which she paired with pointed Ferregamo pumps and an updo.
While she was on the red carpet Angelina told press that her kids think she is nowhere near as cool as the world thinks she is.
She explained, "A mum can't be cool from her kids' point of view. Maddox, our oldest, beats me at every video game and is totally disappointed in me."
She continued: "To him I'm a dumb-ass who's no good at computers. I hope he will watch my films one day, then maybe he'll see his mum isn't totally stupid."

Yesterday a rumour swept the internet (courtesy of the Daily Mail) that Angelina Jolie had been cast to portray Marilyn Monroe in a movie of her life.
The actress was apparently starring in an adaptation of Andrew O'Hagan's The Life And Opinions Of Maf The Dog, And Of His Friend Marilyn Monroe.
But yesterday at the London premiere for her new movie Salt, Angelina denied knowing anything about her new role!
Angelina said, "It's really funny because I have just heard about this for the first time today. It's news to me. I'm flattered I suppose."
Thank god, because that casting would have been totally off the mark!

Angelina Jolie has said that she found it easy to play her character in Salt, because of the similarities between them. Like, they're both a bit weird.
She said, "There's something a little off about her and there's still something off about me, so it seemed like a good match."
Angelina explained, "There was a real duplicity to her personality and there's a part of her that's not necessarily a good guy - because of certain things that happen to her she's a bit damaged."
But she said, she's not too much like her - because she would find it too lonely to be a spy, saying it's a very "unusual" type of person who could do it.
She said: "For me, the most interesting thing if you work with the CIA is that you can't share anything about your work or your life with your family or your friends, so you become this very lonely, isolated, miserable person that has a lot of secrets."

Angelina Jolie has revealed that she sometimes misses the anonymity she had before she was famous.
The actress said, "I do miss anonymity. I lived in New York in my early twenties and I used to just walk block after block. I loved it."
Angelina disclosed that one of the reasons she loves Africa so much is that she can reclaim some of her freedom, saying, "In Cambodia we live very locally and ride elephants and hang out in the streams and be with local people who are our friends."
She also told how her fame affects her children - she said: "They have more freedoms when we're not around. They do have an understanding of fame, it bothers them sometimes and it scares them sometimes."

An unauthorized biography of Angelina Jolie is being released, and so obviously it means that snippets of her life behind closed doors are being reported on in a sensationalist manner.
Today it's that Angelina Jolie has 25 members of staff, just to keep her household running smoothly.
The book's author, Andrew Morton, wrote, "The house was filled with nannies from Vietnam, the Congo, and the US; four nurses, a doctor on permanent call; two personal assistants; a cook; a maid; two cleaners; a busboy; four bodyguards, and six French former army guards patrolling the grounds."
Well, now we know why she lives in such a massive house!

Angelina Jolie has admitted what we all guessed and said that she isn't completely sane.
Well, the vials of blood kind of gave it away.
She told USA Today, "There's certainly a side of me that isn't completely... sane. Or completely 'even' all the time. We all have our dark sides."
Except, Angelina says, that hers was exposed to the public eye.
"I grew up in front of everybody, really. The big years of exploration," she said.
Angelina added, "There was a certain madness I was going through. I learned a lot about myself."

She paired her dress with black peep toe heels with a silver trim, and an updo.
Do you think this tops Moscow's red dress?

Angelina Jolie has told how she refused the role of a Bond Girl because she wanted to be Bond instead.
The actress was offered the role of Vesper Lynd in Casino Royale, but she turned it down, claiming that she told casting agents: "No, thank you, but I'd like to be Bond."
The role of Vesper eventually went to Eva Green, but Angelina got her Bond role in the end.
Well sort of. Jolie added that when Salt came up, the producer rang her up and said: "Maybe we've found your Bond."

Angelina Jolie rocked up to Russia at the weekend for the premiere of new movie Salt, and looked amazing.
Like, properly amazing.
The actress took to the red carpet in a red Atelier Versace chiffon gown which was perfectly draped around her body, with a train that blew around in the wind.
The fact that we're so used to seeing Angelina in black makes it even more of a great look!
What do you guys think?
