Front Row Face Off: Olivia Palermo and Ashley Greene

With New York Fashion Week in full swing and London Fashion Week on the horizon, we thought it was time to pull focus away from the catwalk and take a look at who's been sitting pretty on the front row. Obviously nothing is going to beat an adorable Harper Beckham making Vogue Editor-In-Chief Anna Wintour crack a smile at Mummy Beckham's show, but we spied a couple of equally stylish ladies on the FROW at the Kaufmanfranco RTW SS14 show who were willing to try.

Olivia Palermo backstage at NYFW

First up was style queen and regular NYFW face Olivia Palermo, who manages to be EVERYWHERE come Fashion Month (are we sure she doesn't have a clone or two out there?) The gorgeous socialite adopted a 'typical' Olivia look, walking the line between casual and smart with some expert layering thrown in. The 27-year-old shared details of her outfit on her blog, confessing that she loves layering blouses under dresses as "it brings a special touch to an ensemble that I find very chic." I adore the navy CH by Carolina Herrera dress and her perfectly tousled plait - kudos Olivia.

Ashley Greene on the front row at NYFW

A few seats down from Olivia, model and actress Ashley Greene made me do a double take in her all black ensemble - talk about vamping it up! The 26-year-old looked stunning in a grungy yet sleek look, although I would have preferred it if she'd worn boots or an exciting pair of strappy sandals as apposed to those heels. Ashley has sat on the front row at Kaufmanfranco for the last few seasons, and is obviously as big a fan as ever, tweeting "Had a wonderful time at the Kaufman Franco show today #nyfw #kaufmanfranco #amazedagain"

Who's look do you prefer - Ashley's rebellious outfit or Olivia's sweet ensemble? Let us know in the comments below.

Disappointed with Olivia's ensemble. She's looking unusually bland in this outfit (slightly reminiscent of a nun's habit!). It would look better sans the blouse and with a wider belt to create a more cinched-in waist. Love the funky heels though! Ashley's got cool & sexy covered.
