Yay or Nay: Pixie Lott's double dress disaster

It's been a busy old week for popstrel Pixie Lott. The 22-year-old singer (who had fallen off my radar recently) obviously felt she'd been out of the spotlight for too long and as a result, decided to throw herself into everything on offer. Whilst I usually like Pixie's style, I have to admit I felt a bit let down by her choices yesterday - let's see what you think...

For reasons unknown, Pixie opted to help launch the new Blackberry Z10 at Phones 4U in London in the morning. Perhaps she's looking to follow in the footsteps of the phones new creative director, Alicia Keys? On a blustery day on a busy high street, Pixie wore an all white ensemble that frankly baffled me - a white mini dress by Camilla and Marc (that was actually quite nice as a stand alone piece) teamed with unflattering white wedges, white jewellery, white jacket, white manicure, white pedicure...you get the idea. Although the retro-loving singer tried to make the look work by injecting some Sixties styling with a cute white bow, it looked over the top and felt a little too try hard in my opinion. And of course, the phone was white.

Pixie commented: "I've walked the red carpet a few times before but never a white one so I wanted a special outfit to suitably mark the occasion and to celebrate being one of the first people in the country to get a new Blackberry Z10 in white from Phones 4u." Oh Pixie...

Later that evening, Pixie attended the official Shard opening party in another outfit that failed to hit the right notes. Sporting a vibrant yellow Burberry dress featuring an oversized peter pan collar and lace waist insert, the pop princess tried and failed a second time to get the Sixties look quite right. Had she opted for the same dress without the lace detail, I might have been able to overlook the same white heels, white clutch and white pedi/mani from earlier that day - unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be. I'd like to know who can make a v-shaped lace insert at the waist work, as I'm fairly certain it's a short list. I'm also at a loss as to why she brushed out her cute mini beehive and took away the bow to reveal a backcombed mess. Cast your opinion on Pixie's outfit choices below...
