Steal Blake Lively's summer style

Last month, we took a good look at Gossip Girl favourite, Blake Lively, and her style evolution, seeing how she's gone from young American teen to fashion icon and face of Gucci. Anyone that can make such a transformation in a few years is someone who's style we're keen to steal, so when we spotted Blake out in this floral number, which is actually from Monique Lhuillier Resort 2013 collection, we knew there'd be a high street alternative out there to help us get her look.

Low and behold, independent fashion brand, Closet, have a look-a-like in stock that recreates Blake's bright and summery look to perfection. The bold floral-come-tropical themed print picks out the colours in Blake's designer version as well as mirroring the simplistic skater girl shape. Want to finish the look off in true Gossip Girl style? Go on, treat yourself to the exact pair of shoes Blake is wearing; yep you guessed it, they're by Christian Louboutin and are called "Crazy Fur Suede Pump". Finish the look off with a stack of purple bangles which are by Matthew Williamson for Debenhams.

Having started filming the final series of Gossip Girl this month, we reckon Blake will continue to be in the fashion spotlight for months to come, but as the sun is due to arrive any day (so they say), why not invest in the summary look-a-like now?
