Hay or Neigh? Amy Childs at Royal Ascot Ladies Day

Whilst I won't be apologising for that horse related pun any time soon, I will be apologising to Amy Childs for automatically assuming she would look awful at Ascot. Yes the TOWIE star certainly has a long way to go, but at least she put her best, err, assets away for Ladies Day.

Amy trotted up to the Berkshire racecourse today for a slice of the action in a £65 black and white Marcia dress from her own collection which features a sweet heart neckline and cap sleeves (pssst, we've found a great copy over at Internacionale for only £19.99). I have to admit, I'm so confused right now. This is the classiest I think I've ever seen the 21-year-old, but the tacky elements are still there; the fake tan, the studded platform heels and that chunky gold watch just aren't Ascot appropriate to me. At least her trademark big hair isn't overly styled underneath her huge hat (which I actually quite like) and if she happened to poke herself in the eye with a mascara wand this morning then no one will know if she keeps those oversize sunglasses on all day.
