Kristen Stewart vamps it up as Bella Cullen
If you're as excited as we are about Breaking Dawn Part 2, the final instalment of the Twilight Saga, then you've probably already seen the new posters and teaser trailer that was released yesterday (if you haven't then check it out at the end of this post). As awesome as the movie is bound to be, it's Kristen Stewart's transformation from Bella Swan the human to Bella Cullen the vampire that has got us in a twist today; having already seen her kick some ass in Snow White and the Huntsman, we're looking forward to seeing K-Stew become a brooding, and stylish vamp.
Her vamp makeover couldn't come at a better time - both Emma Stone and Katy Perry have been snapped sporting some seriously gothic inspired looks recently, and with so many fairytale adaptations creeping onto the silver screen this year, it seems as though we'll all be taking tips from the dark side. I wonder if Kristen will embrace the gothic look when it comes to the promotional tour...

As the Twilight Saga comes to a dramatic end this November (perfectly timed to work with sultry winter trends) we won't blame you for finding inspiration in Bella Cullen's vampire-ific wardrobe, in fact, we're encouraging it! Whilst Bella's new wardrobe is filled with designer pieces like Belstaff's zip leather blazer, Michael Stars Kasia Jobpur's, and Steven by Steve Madden Isolate Lace Up Boots, we took to the high street to get the look. The key is a lot of skinny fitting pieces, juxtaposing fabrics and leather (we're betting Kristen loved being a vamp). Think comfortable, yet oh-so-stylish.
YSL Touche Éclat £25, Max Factor flipstick in Gipsy Red £8.49, Illamasqua pure pigment in Incite £15.50, Revlon 'Just Bitten' lipstain £7.99, Shu Uemura lavender bloom eyelashes £22, Bobbi Brown sheer finish powder £23, Koal in Coal eyeliner Topshop £4, MAC studio fix foundation £19.50
As gorgeous as the costumes are, it's the makeup that really stands out - Bella's beauty look could have come straight from an Autumn/Winter catwalk. Getting the skin right is half the battle here; the aim is professional and flawless not washed out Halloween queen. The hair is sleek and glossy with a reddish purple hue, which is reflected in the 'just bitten' wine colour on the lips; they even have a slight shine that matches the stunning metallic eyes, after all, they are sparkling vampires. A little kohl eyeliner, some false lashes and a strong brow complete the look (red contacts optional!).
