Yay or Nay? Cheryl Cole at Cannes

Cheryl Cole knows how to make an entrance, doesn't she? Arriving at Cannes Film Festival as L'Oreal's ambassador, there's no denying that her gown, made by Stephane Rowland Haute Couture was a show stopper. The fishtail cut was huge, and Cheryl topped it off with gorgeous hair and accessories.

It's the skirt that we're not sure of. The red feathers blend so perfectly into the red carpet, and they're just so... separate from the rest of the dress. The sleek silhouette of the gown's top half is ruined by the red feathers.

Or, you could argue that without the red feather train, this dress would be rather dull - a little more soap awards than Cannes.

So which is it for Cheryl's look?
