Airport style: Dress like Cheryl Cole, Victoria Beckham and J-Lo

Some celebrities waltz through airport security like they haven't just spent seven hours on a plane. They might fly first class but that doesn't work miracles. How come you never see Victoria Beckham with a cushion mark down her face? Why doesn't Cheryl Cole have messy plane hair? (More to the point, why does she NEVER has messy hair?) Here are some things you'll need for your fabulous airport arrival:

First you need fabulous carry-on luggage. You'll have some poor guy to worry about your actual luggage. This DKNY holdall has the designer label box ticked and will go with everything in your wardrobe. It's just £190 from House of Fraser.

You need some gorgeous flat shoes. No one ever gets off a long haul flight in high heels. You've probably got swollen ankles, you don't want to draw attention to those. What could be better for landing in NYC than these star and stripe pumps from Schuh? They're £24.

Think super comfy clothes, but with a stylish edge. You can go down the jogging bottom route if you really want (or if you have a bum like J-Lo's). But a knitted dress is a much better option. Now you just need some noisy photographers to follow you through Arrivals and you'll be every inch the star.
