Banana Republic release Kate Middleton copycat dress

Remember way back in July last year, Kate Middleton caused a Reiss frenzy (no surprises there!) when she was pictured meeting America's First Lady, Michelle Obama in their 'Shola' bandage-style dress?

Well if you missed out on snapping up the original, American brand Banana Republic have just released their own version in the same almond hue. And, it's even called 'Kate'.

The Duchess' dress doppelganger is available for just £85 online. That's a hefty saving of £90 on the £175 original.

Banana Republic will be hoping that 'The Kate Effect' will boost their sales no doubt, but would you make do with a Kate wardrobe copycat? Let us know below.
