Kate Middleton and Prince William board the plane for Royal Canada Tour

kate_middleton_canada_tour.jpgThe first step of Prince William and Kate Middleton's royal tour of Canada has just kicked off - they're on the plane everyone.

The Duchess and Duke of Cambridge were spotted getting onto a Royal Canadian Air Force plane at Heathrow only hours ago, bound for Ottawa to start their 11-day trip, which will take them through Canada and on to California.

Global trendsetter Kate was looking as smart as ever for the flight in a fitted navy blue dress paired with a matching jacket with gold buttons and navy heels.

Bet she had tracksuit bottoms in that bag though.

Also her hair looks super shiny today doesn't it?

No wonder she's only taking her hairstylist James Pryce with her - he works magic
