Christina Aguilera arrested

christina_aguilera_walk_of_fame.JPGWe've just heard that Christina Aguilera has been arrested in LA for public intoxication.

Her boyfriend Matthew Rutler was also arrested for for a misdemeanor offence, and his bail was set at $30,000.

A source told TMZ that Christina appeared to be "extremely intoxicated" and was "unable to take care of herself."

However, the source added, "If the driver had NOT been arrested for DUI, [Christina] would have never been in trouble."

Apparently her friends have been trying to get her into rehab for weeks too...

  • We are all responsible for our actions. Even "entertainers" who get away with anything. It's no one's pleasure to see them fall. But it doesn't mean they are immune from normal standards of behavior - and shouldn't be criticized for acting like pigs.
