The Top 10 Celebrity Naked Photo Scandals

Ah, the celebrity photo scandal. Even though countless of their famous peers before them have seen the naked photo they sent someone become their downfall, it still doesn't stop them from taking pictures of parts of their body they'd rather not have us see and then being embarrassed and shocked as they watch them sweep the internet.

Lady Gaga fell foul of it just this week (although we doubt she minds). You'd think they'd learn from everyone else's mistakes but no. Everyone from Disney princesses Vanessa Hudgens and Miley Cyrus to wannabe Peaches Geldof have seen their sexy snaps almost destroy their credibility and career (well except for Peaches, she didn't have any in the first place).

So we've put together a list of the celebrities, in no particular order, who've had the most memorable photo scandals in recent years. Read on to find out who they are!

Naked Vanessa Hudgens
Vanessa was the star of High School Musical and part of the ruling couple of teen Hollywood with boyfriend and co-star Zac Efron. And then her phone was stolen and what seemed like 30 different pictures of her naked hit the internet in waves. Vanessa was forced to apologize and released a statement saying, "I am embarrassed over this situation and regret having ever taken these photos."

Naked Rihanna
Nude pictures that Rihanna had taken of herself in a mirror were leaked a little while ago - all doubt from whether or not it was her were wiped when the singer addressed the issue on twittter directly, saying, "That would be... ME when I was skinny!"

Naked Paris Hilton
Paris Hilton had not so much a photo but an entire sex tape released by her ex-boyfriend Rick Salomon called 1 Night in Paris. I think you know the rest. Paris addressed it in GQ once, saying, "I never received a dime from the video. It's just dirty money and (Salomon) should give it all to some charity for the sexually abused or something. To be honest, I don't even think about it any more." On the bright side, it won the 2008 F.A.M.E. Awards - Favorite Celebrity Sex Tape. Probably the only award she'll ever win, so she should make the most of it really.

Naked Leighton Meester
Gossip Girl actress Leighton Meester was rumoured to have released a sex tape and stills from it flew around the internet before she insisted it was fake... the thing is, the pictures looked pretty real to everyone else. Whatever, we still love her.

Naked Jessica Alba
Jessica was caught out while she was pregnant sending topless pictures of herself to her husband Cash Warren. We're sure he appreciated them. So did the rest of the world.

Naked Peaches Geldof
Peaches Geldof was responsible for one of the most unattractive sets of nude celebrity photos since Courtney Love. Apparently they were taken during a drug fuelled one night stand with an American guy who didn't even know who she was until he posted about the experience on Reddit. Then she got sacked from her stint as face and body of Ultimo. Shame.

Naked Christina Aguilera
Pictures of Christina Aguilera wearing nothing but chains (admittedly quite a lot of chains) during a session with her stylist at home were leaked online in December. "The photos of Christina Aguilera being leaked to the press were illegally obtained by a hacker who tapped into Christina's personal stylist's account," said a spokesperson.

Naked Miley Cyrus
Oh Miley Cyrus. There are several photos of Miley floating around the internet, and most of them she denies are her (even though in them she is wearing clothes and jewellery she's been seen out in). However, there are some, like the ones of her in the shower and pulling her top up, that most definitely are. I give it a year before we have 'real' ones.

Naked Ashley Green
Photos of Twilight star Ashley Greene naked hit the internet in 2009. There was no doubt they were her - her lawyer released a statement saying, "The photos in question, which appear to be of our client, are illegal and are being unlawfully displayed. Our client intends to take legal action." Think Joe Jonas is still wearing his purity ring...?

Naked Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashian, though she may attribute it to her famous dad, is actually famous because of a sex tape with singer Ray J. In hindsight, we wonder why she was so bothered about the whole W magazine thing. It's nothing we haven't seen before.
