Tesco on Nadine Coyle's album failure
Tesco have spoken about their 'disappointment' at the poor sales of Nadine Coyle's debut solo album - and has blamed an anti-Tesco campaign by big music labels for it's lack of airplay and peak at number 47 on the charts.
A spokesperson said, "We're obviously disappointed that Nadine's album hasn't got off to the start we all hoped for, but it's a great record from a brilliant artist and once we start getting some proper airplay I think a lot more people will discover this for themselves."
They added, "Tesco is used to facing tough competition and we'll be getting right behind Nadine's second single in the New Year."
