Leighton Meester is leaving Gossip Girl!

leighton_meester_suit_.jpgLeighton Meester has revealed that she is leaving Gossip Girl - in two years.

The actress has confirmed that she'll be leaving the show when the casts' two year contract is up.

She says she "obviously enjoys working on the show and living in New York," but wants to explore other projects.

And it doesn't sound like she's too happy to stay longer - she said, "I think there's that old saying about wanting to go out on top."

We hope that means the whole show will be cancelled because Blair is the best part.
