Britney Spears to sue Star for abuse story

britney_spears_jason_walking.jpgBritney Spears will be suing Star magazine after it alleged that she had been beaten up by her boyfriend and ex-agent Jason Travick.

The story printed accuses Britney of telling her ex-Vegas husband Jason Alexander about Travick beating her up - they even say they have an audio tape of the conversation, which Brit's rep Andrew Wallet says is fake.

He said, "Every aspect of the story published by Star Magazine is completely and utterly false."

"Star Magazine was informed of the falsity of the story before it was published. All the statements attributable to Jason Alexander [in the article] are completely fabricated."

Wallet added: "Jason Trawick has never abused [Spears]. They have defamed Britney Spears and we will be taking appropriate legal action."
