Jessica Simpson is engaged (and so is Nick)

jessica-simpson-shoesshort.jpgJessica Simpson has revealed that she is engaged to Eric Johnson, just 10 days after her ex-husband Nick Lachey announced his engagement to girlfriend of four years Vanessa Milliano.

Jessica has been dating football player Eric since just May, and he only finalised his last marriage in September.

Anyone else think this is a strange coincidence?
