Cheryl Cole lands US X-Factor job?

A source said, "She has really charmed the American execs. They love her good looks and the way she wears her heart on her sleeve. And of course her chemistry with Simon [Cowell] played a huge part in it. They are great together."

But it's all part of a bigger plan - an insider revealed, "When Cheryl goes to America she will also launch her music career there too."

They added, "It's the next part of her big plan, she's an incredibly hard worker and she will definitely get a boost by appearing on The X Factor, which is set to be a sure-fire hit."
