Miley Cyrus's parents Tish and Billy Ray divorce

Well if the tradition of children acting out when their parents divorce is guaranteed, we're going to be seeing a lot more out of Miley Cyrus - because her parents Tish and Billy Ray have announced that they are divorcing.

The former couple released a statement saying, "As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family. We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers."

They've been together for 17 years and have 5 children.

We can't wait to see Miley's next video - and people thought the last one was bad!
