Lady Gaga was a painfully shy prodigy

Lady Gaga's former manager has been talking about the 6 months he worked with her, describing her as 'shy and prodigy-like'.

Bob Leone, who met Gaga at an open mike night 10 years ago, said, "She was painfully shy - very different from who she is now. She came to the open mics with her mother twice before she built up the courage to go on stage."

He described his first impressions of her, saying, "She was prodigy-like. She was clearly a very good songwriter and keyboard player."

Leone also revealed that he was in the period of her life where she transformed into her alter ego. He explained, "Going into it, she was Stefani, and she was still writing pop music. By the end of that six-month period, she was officially Lady GaGa."
