Jennifer Lopez on judging American Idol

jennifer-lopez-back-up.jpgJennifer Lopez has been talking about her new role as an American Idol judge, saying that it can be tough.

Jennifer said, "When it's not good it's easy, when they are really good it's easy. When they can sing but you have to figure out whether or not they are Idol material or not that's when it gets really hard."

"Believe it or not, there are a lot of people out there who can sing and carry a tune and that's when it gets difficult because you ask, 'Do I give this person a chance or crush his dreams right now?' It's like, 'Ahh what do we do?',"she explained.

She continued: "It's tough. It's about finding the right way to say it and sometimes you have to be tough because they don't want to believe it!"
