Russell Brand gets arrested for defending Katy Perry against paparazzi

Russell Brand was arrested yesterday (not for the first time it's safe to say) after he got into a scuffle with a photographer who was trying to take pictures up Katy Perry's skirt.

Awww. How romantic!

The 35-year-old comedian was taken into custody at Los Angeles international airport for a charge of simple battery, but was released after posting $20,000 (£12,800) bail.

Katy tweeted after the incident, "If you cross the line & try an put a lens up my dress, my fiancé will do his job & protect me. #standbyyourman #don'tfuckwiththeBrands."
