Paris Hilton to get cocaine plea bargain?

And now, a Paris Hilton Cocaine Arrest update: the heiress is reportedly being offered a plea bargain.

Reports are alleging that Paris could avoid a jail sentence by pleading guilty to misdemeanour charges of drug possession and lying to a police officer.

No confirmation on this, but the Clark County District Attorney's Office said, "Possession of a controlled substance is a felony punishable by a minimum term of one year and a maximum term of four years.

They added, "She may also be fined up to $5,000 (£3,200). This charge is probationable, so the court could sentence her to a term of probation, rather than prison time."
