Lady Gaga and Katy Perry Lead EMA nominations

This years MTV Europe Music Awards nominations have been released, and Katy Perry and Lady Gaga are leading the pack with five each.

The girls are best nominated for the 'Best Pop' and 'Best Female' prizes, as well as in the 'Best Song' and 'Best Video' categories.

Ke$ha has also gotten a nomination in the form of 'Best New Act', where she'll be fighting it out with tween obsession Justin Bieber.

X-Factor winner Alexandra Burke also makes an appearance in the 'Best Push Act' category, which Pixie Lott won last year.
