Katy Perry didn't tame Russell, he's just old

Katy Perry has joked that her fiancé Russell Brand only settled down with her because he was getting too old to carry on his womanizing.

The singer told Glamour magazine, "I think he was ready for change. You just don't have the stamina to be in bed with 80 different women a week when you're 35."

Katy and Russell are due to get married in October, and it looks like it'll be a reletively sober event - since Katy has cut down on drinking to support Russell

She said, "I won't be able to get smashed all the time, but I don't want to. I need time for myself and him."

Aahh.
