Britney Spears goes Manga on Pop cover

Britney Spears has landed the September cover of Pop Magazine, which took on a Japanese Manga-inspired new look, including Britney who was dressed like an anime character!

Wearing a Rodarte lace wedding dress in one shot, Britney has echoes of her first ever album cover in the blurred and over exposed pictures, which were taken by renowned Japanese photographer Takashi Murakami.

Britney said of the experiance, "I loved working with Takashi. I especially liked how he took high-end fashion and incorporated it with Japanese Manga."

She added, "We took a lot of characters and art before we shot, so I could get a feel of what he was looking for. I was in Japan on my last promo tour, and I loved it."
