Simon Cowell says Cheryl Cole will be out of hospital soon

Cheryl Cole will be leaving hospital soon, according to Simon Cowell!

Simon told press that Cheryl, who has been in hospital suffering with malaria, had texted him to let him know she was alright.

He said, "I had a text from her yesterday. She is on the mend and looking forward to coming back to work. She is making a good recovery."

The X-Factor judge added, "She will be out within the next day or two. I've not been able to see her - she's not really seeing visitors yet."

A source said on Cheryl's improving condition, "It's been a tough fortnight but the worst is over. Cheryl is lying up in bed, texting and watching DVDs and is beginning to laugh again."
