Robert Pattinson on the trials of Water For Elephants

Robert Pattinson has been filming his new movie Water For Elephants, also starring Reese Witherspoon, and has revealed some of the problems he's encountered while there.

For example, he was bitten by a lion.

He said, "Almost every day I'm working with an exotic animal... It's insane, like I got bitten on the arm by a lion with no teeth.

"They were like, 'It's fine, he does it all the time'. And I was like, 'Erm, OK...' But they had to get him to do it harder, because he was being so gentle and just licking my arm."

Rob also revealed that his obsessed fans came to their rescue a little while ago when the paparazzi got in the way of filming.

He recounted, "Out of the blue, fans, that were waiting for autographs, had enough and circled around the paparazzi. Teens made big guys run away. It was unreal! I was pleased."
