Katy Perry on how she snagged Russell

Katy Perry has spoken to Esquire about how she managed to tame former lothario Russell Brand, saying that she believes it's because she is a match for him.

When she first met the comedian, Katy told him, "You've met your match m****** f******" and threw a plastic water bottle at him at their first meeting.

That would tend to get someone's attention alright.

The singer told how they went out together later that same night, but she refused to go back to his room with him, and instead demanded he took her on a date. She said, "Can you imagine the horrible feeling he had when he was used to getting everything he wanted?"

Katy also said that wearing the infamous Westham lingerie was the next phase of her plan. She said, "I always like hitting that deep spot, and I knew that West Ham was a deep spot for Russell."

Nice work Katy.
