Dakota Fanning could have been a Wimbledon star

Dakota Fanning has told press that her parents used to harbour hopes of her being a great tennis player, until she shot down their dream.

The actress said, "When I was younger the plan for me was to be a tennis player, and my mom had me working with her coach from, like, three-years-old."

But it wasn't meant to be - Dakota said that she hated tennis because she got too hot playing it!

She said, "I told her one day that I just get too hot playing tennis. I just don't want to do that. She was like, 'What do you mean you get too hot? That's what you do when you play sports.' So they quickly realized that maybe that wasn't going to be my thing."
