Angelina Jolie wants to be Bond

angelina_jolie_salt_red.jpgAngelina Jolie has told how she refused the role of a Bond Girl because she wanted to be Bond instead.

The actress was offered the role of Vesper Lynd in Casino Royale, but she turned it down, claiming that she told casting agents: "No, thank you, but I'd like to be Bond."

The role of Vesper eventually went to Eva Green, but Angelina got her Bond role in the end.

Well sort of. Jolie added that when Salt came up, the producer rang her up and said: "Maybe we've found your Bond."
