Dancing with the Stars wants Cheryl Cole

Strictly Come Dancing's US counterpart, Dancing With The Stars is reportedly trying to get our Cheryl Cole on as a contestant!

The show has apparently contacted the singer's management to get her on series 12 partnering rumoured boyfriend Derek Hough, but it has already been ruled out because it would clash with the X Factor.

An insider said, "Her US team think it will be a great move for her and increase her profile stateside. Partnering her with Derek too would be a masterstroke and they want her to give it serious thought."

They added, "Derek danced with Cheryl on her recent tour and enjoyed a sultry ballroom dance in her 'Parachute' video so the chemistry is certainly right."
