Miley Cyrus on what her parents thought of Can't Be Tamed

We showed you the music video for Miley Cyrus's single 'Can't Be Tamed' the other day, in which the 17-year old singer showed off her new, grown up look.

Miley, dressed as a bird in a feathery playsuit danced and sang in a giant cage - but did her parents approve?

The teenage singer said, "My mom was on set. And my dad loves it, because I think my dad was thinking I was a little crazy as I was writing it. When you see it, they were so proud of the treatment I came up with."

Miley added, "I didn't want to be just a character. I wanted to be myself and just in a bird-like form in the way I dressed."
