Cheryl Cole launches divorce proceedings

cheryl-cole-cannes-white.jpgCheryl Cole has started divorce proceedings against husband Ashley Cole, after the footballer allegedly cheated on her with a string of women.

In the divorce papers, Cheryl isn't asking for any money and cites Ashley's 'unreasonable behaviour' as the cause of the breakdown.

The pair have a house together as well as a joint £22 million fortune, but apparently all Cheryl wants is the dogs.

The singer's PR, Supersonic, confirmed the news on Twitter this morning, writing the message: "We can confirm the divorce. We have no further comment."
