Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue are friends

Cheryl Cole has blasted the rumours that her and fellow X-Factor judge Dannii Minogue are at each others throat.

The singer said, "I find it such a shame that people feel the need to pitch women against each other. Me and Dannii actually get on really well - she's an amazing woman and we have no rivalry whatsoever."

She added, "You never have Simon against Louis, do you know what I mean? It's always the girls."

Cheryl continued, "Obviously we always get a bit competitive with the competition when we've got our own acts, but me and Dannii kind of stick together against the boys."
