Charlotte Church and Gavin Henson split

It's the weekend of splits! Charlotte Church and her rugby player boyfriend Gavin Henson, who announced their engagement just weeks ago, have split up.

The couple, who have two children together, Dexter, 1, and Ruby 2, are said to be 'distraught' after agreeing to go their separate ways after a tumultuous relationship.

A source said: "It is an incredibly sad state of affairs. Both Gavin and Charlotte are deeply distraught."

They continued, "But after a lot of soul-searching, they realised this is the best course of action for them and the children. It was a mutual decision."
