Cannes: Kate Beckinsale in Balmian

The actress attended the 'Biutiful' premiere yesterday and looked a little bit like a Bond villainess in this amazing Balmain gown.

In a departure from her recent princess-y outfits, Kate wore this dramatic black sequinned gown with a thigh-high slit from Balmain's Fall 2010 collection, pulled in with a big gold studded belt.

She accessorised with big black platform pumps.

We basically want to be her.
