Leona Lewis misses family on tour

Leona Lewis has told Stylist magazine how much she misses her home and family while off touring.

The singer, who jets all around the world to promote her music, said, "I am quite an emotional person and I'm very sensitive to certain issues, but I've gained a lot of independence going out on my own because usually I've got my very protective family and people around me."

"But I go home whenever I can. Sometimes my parents will come with me but it's about balancing that. I do enjoy it more when I have my family around me, though."

But her busy schedule hasn't ended her relationship with boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa, who Leona has been with since before the fame and fortune, when she was still working in Pizza Hut.

She said, "My relationship is very, very precious to me. We're a partnership so we just get on with it, really. We just work it out - you have to just deal with it."
