Oscars: Carey Mulligan in Prada
Despite winning a BAFTA recently for her role in An Education, our Carey Mulligan missed out on the Best Actress award at the Oscars last night.
Although the actress lost out to Sandra Bullock, she looked amazing in a dramatic strapless jet-black Prada gown with a graduated hemline (maybe as a compromise with Anna Wintour who wanted her to wear a short dress), embellished with hundreds of crystals, buttons and teeny tiny knives and forks.
We weren't as impressed with her shoes; it looks like her feet had been bandaged and she should have gone for something a bit more delicate with the imposing dress, but her Fred Leighton chandelier earrings were amazing, and we want them.
