Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes seperate

Kate Winslet has announced that she and her husband, director Sam Mendes are separating.

The couple have been married for 6 years and also have a child together, 6-year old Joe, but the actress says "That's it, it is final."

A source has told press, "The split is entirely amicable and is by mutual agreement. Both parties are fully committed to the future joint parenting of their children."
