Cheryl Cole says sorry for being sick

Cheryl Cole has posted a message on her website from her sickbed, apologising for her missed appearances on the Friday Night with Jonathan Ross show and Radio 1.

Cheryl wrote: "As some of you may know, I'm really ill at the moment with a nasty case of bronchitis."

"Unfortunately, I'm stuck in bed under strict doctor's orders, so I've had no other choice than to cancel my performances on the Jonathan Ross show and the Radio 1 Live Lounge this week. Gutted! It's a good job I've got my iPod to keep me entertained."

She added: "I'm really sorry for letting you down and I look forward to seeing you all soon."
