Angelina Jolie in Max Azria Atelier: Somehow Angelina managed to look beautiful and sexy while pregnant with twins and - let's face it - the size of a house in 2008. Although it would be Angelina who managed to make being pregnant look so alluring.
Gwyneth Paltrow's style epiphany: In 2008 Gwyn surprised everyone with her signature style for that season - a hot minidress paired with towering statement shoes.
Grace Kelly meets her Prince: Ok, so it may not be a fashion moment per se, but Grace Kelly meeting Prince Rainer of Monaco while she was in Cannes attending the Film Festival did lead to their wedding... which led to her amazing, iconic wedding dress.

Jacques D'Azur and his Hermes scarf: While I'm on old Hollywood, notorious playboy Jacques (Left) caused quite a stir back in the day as a Cannes red carpet fixture. Making Hermes a household name when he appeared in it at the festival - thought to be a tribute to the Yamamena tribe (there was a rumour that the socialite spent time in Venezuela with them) who apparently wore Hermes scarves for special ceremonies.
Kerry Washington in Jean Paul Gaultier in 2007: Kerry swept onto the red carpet in 2007 in a magnificently dreamy tulle Gaultier gown, that looked like it had been whipped from clouds.
Rachel Weiz in forest green Valentino: We bet the beautiful Rachel Weiz caused a few gasps when she showed up to the premiere of her film Agora at Cannes in 2009 in an amazing graduating Valentino dress.
Eva Longoria in Atelier Versace: Eva Longoria had one of the most gorgeous gowns to grace the Cannes Red Carpet last year when she appeared, looking like a fairytale princess.
Claudia Schiffer in Versace: Supermodel Claudia Schiffer (Bottom Left) always looks stunning, but she looked amazing in 2007 when she took to the red carpet in this beautiful midnight blue Versace gown - with an artfully cut out back.
Brigitte Bardot's bikini: This wasn't just a fashion moment, this was a social moment. Brgitte stepped onto the white sand of the Cote d'zor in 1953 in a revealing two piece and made fashion history as the media went crazy. Actually, now we think about it, you could theoretically blame her for the media's obsession for photographing celebrities in their swimsuits on the beach!
