Britney Spears and Jason Trawick split

There are reports this morning that Britney Spears has broken up with her boyfriend of a year, Jason Trawick.

Apparently the split happened back in February, which was the last time the couple were seen together - in McDonalds on Valentines Day.

A source told press, "They were fighting a lot and have not been getting along. They both just needed to take a break from each other. It wasn't working out."

And considering the fact that Jason is still the popstar's agent, things could get awkward!

But the source also adds that the couple may get back together.

They shouldn't split. He's been an enormously positive influence in her life. I hope they mention that in the new book, "Britney Spears: Little Girl Lost".
