Amanda Seyfried hates the Hollywood life

Amanda Seyfried has spoken to Esquire magazine about her hate of LA and plans to move to New York.

The Pennsylvanian-born actress told Esquire, "I sacrificed six years in Los Angeles. I did my job out there. I made the contacts and did the work I had to do. But I came here at 18. I'm out of here at 24, and I feel lucky it wasn't longer."

"I bought an apartment in New York but I can't move in until April. I was hoping to move there now. But it's OK. It's worth it."

Amanda also spoke about her boyfriend Dominic Cooper, saying, "I have my relationship overseas too. New York's just so much easier than Los Angeles as I'm always going to London. It's nice to be closer - even if it's still a long flight.."
