Robert Pattinson attends BAFTA awards

Robert Pattinson sent the hearts of a million girls racing as he rocked up to the BAFTAs last night.

Wearing a tux and looking (gasp!) clean and (gasp!) shaven, Edward Robert smouldered down the red carpet taking pictures with his legions of loyal fans and signing a million autographs, before making sure the pen he was using was returned to its owner. Awww.

The actor took to the stage to present the award for Best Original Screenplay in his best rakish manner, after quickly (and slightly giddily) congratulating the winner of Best Make up artist.

Disappointingly he didn't make the appearance with co-star Kristen Stewart to satiate the medias obsession with their relationship - however, the couple were spotted leaving the BAFTA afterparty together.
