Lady Gaga scoops three Brit Awards
After arriving on the red carpet dressed as a wedding cake and wearing a massive Marie Antoinette wig, Lady Gaga took home not one, not two, but three statues from the Brit Awards held at Earls Court last night.
Winning in every category she was nominated in, Gaga sobbed and thanked her friends and family as she accepted Best International Female Solo Artist, Best International Breakthrough Act and Best International Album for The Fame.
During the night Gaga, wearing a nude bodysuit covered in strategically placed lace and a headpiece by Philip Treacy, performed a reworking of her songs Telephone and Dance in the Dark. The understated (for Gaga anyway) performance was dedicated to her friend, the British designer Alexander McQueen, who committed suicide last week. Watch it below.
