Carery Mulligan wins Best Actress at BAFTAs

Carey Mulligan looked amazing in a black and white gown as she picked up the gong for Best Actress at the BAFTAs last night.

The actress and girlfriend of Shia LaBeouf attended our version of the Oscars yesterday where she was definitely one of the best dressed, in a beautifully cut, floor length floral Vionnet gown, paired with black YSL shoes.

She may have missed out on the Rising Star award to Kristen Stewart, but I'm sure Best Actress was a more then acceptable substitute.

As she accepted the award for her performance in An Education, the 24-year told told the audience she hadn't expected to win, and so hadn't prepared a speech.

She giddily said, "My brother and my dad are right up there. My mum is there. I love them. Thank you so much."
