Robert Pattinson swaps Twilight for Isle of Wight

He may be a Hollywood A-lister but UK star Robert Pattinson shunned the celeb-clogged beaches of the Caribbean in favour of New Year on the Isle of Wight. Accompanied by his co-star Kristen Stewart, he was back in the UK to celebrate Christmas with his family before seeing in the new year in the small town of Ventnor.

Blending in with the locals, the are-they-aren't-they couple reportedly posed with fans for photographs. Their attire of choice? Daylight-shielding hooded jackets of course - vampires don't do sunlight.
